The Background:
The original farming operations started when the late Mr. P.K. Shah acquired the primary unit in 1965. P.K. & the current chairman, Mr. Shanti Shah founded Sunripe in 1969. Tiku Shah, Shamit Shah & Hitesh Shah, now run Sunripe with a dedicated team of professionals.
Recent Achievements
The facility has been redeveloped to accommodate larger orders. The expansion, primarily of the high care processing areas provides for more volume throughput, greater flexibility for more product permutations & the inclusion of an organic section to the high care processing hall.
The facility is supported by an increase in processing equipment, increased coldroom space & blast chiller facilities
This end result is a quadrupling of the present packing capacity.
A new second packhouse is in place for packing of avocados.
